Alyshia N. Wayland, 34, of Kansas City, and Kimberly L. Wayland, 52, of Fayette, sustained minor injuries at 1:05 p.m. Monday in a Saline County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Frederick D. Wayland, 53, of Fayette, lost control of a 2013 Ford Explorer while headed west on I-70 and drove into the grass median to avoid an unknown vehicle. The driver then over-corrected and traveled off the north side of the roadway and struck an embankment.
Everyone was wearing a seat belt. The injured were transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
