Warsaw man injured hitting tractor-trailer

Andrew S. Ehlers, 41, of Warsaw, received moderate injuries at 2:22 p.m. Friday in a Benton County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Ehlers was driving south on U.S. 65 south of Mount Olivet Road in a 2004 Ford when a 2007 Kenworth tractor-trailer driven by Wesley L. Segar, 45, of Edwards, was making a right turn while also driving south. Ehlers’ vehicle began skidding, traveled off the right side of the roadway, and struck the side of the tractor-trailer. 

Both drivers were wearing a seat belt.

Ehlers was transported to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton by Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance District.

Montrose juvenile seriously injured Henry accident

A 17-year-old male from Montrose was seriously injured at 5:55 p.m. Sunday in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the young man was driving south on Highway K south of Southwest 600 Road in a 2005 Ford F150 when he traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a ditch, and overturned.

He was not wearing a seat belt and was transported by Lifeflight Eagle Air to Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City.

Overland Park woman hurt in Johnson accident

Lily A. Johnson, 21, from Overland Park, Kansas, received minor injuries at 6:58 p.m. Friday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Johnson was driving east on U.S. 50 near Route 13 in a 2006 Toyota Solara when she began hydroplaning, traveled off the roadway, across the median, and into the westbound lanes where she was struck by a 2006 Dodge Dakota driven by Jose M. De Leon Marroquin, 68, of Sedalia. Her vehicle struck a fence and came to rest on its top. 

Both drivers were wearing a seat belt. Johnson was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Warrensburg man hurt in Johnson accident

Malik Y. Robinson, 53, of Warrensburg, received minor injuries at 12:06 a.m. Monday in a Johnson County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Robinson was driving east on U.S. 50 near 271st Road in a 2014 Ford when he collided with the rear of an unknown vehicle, also eastbound. 

Robinson was wearing a seat belt and was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Teens from New Bloomfield hurt in Morgan accident

Two 16-year-old girls from New Bloomfield received minor injuries at 12:35 a.m. Sunday in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, they were southbound in a 2007 Toyota Avalon on Old Route 50 at U.S. 50 when the driver failed to stop at the intersection and struck a ditch.

The driver, who was wearing a seat belt, was transported by private vehicle to Saint Mary's Hospital in Blue Springs. The occupant, who was not wearing a seat belt, was transported by ambulance to Bothwell Regional Health Center.

Eldon woman hurt in Morgan accident

Amanda R. Brown, 27, of Eldon, received minor injuries at 10 a.m. Sunday in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Brown was driving north on Old 5 Road near South Hoosier Road in a 2000 Ford Taurus when she traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a fence.

Brown was not wearing a seat belt and was transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
