Warrensburg woman hurt in Johnson accident
Rebecca M. Comfort, 44, of Warrensburg, sustained minor injuries at 3:50 p.m. Tuesday in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Comfort was driving a 2002 Honda north on Route BB at Southwest 101 Road when she failed to navigate a curve and traveled off the right side of the roadway striking a sign and a culvert. Her vehicle then returned to the roadway, traveled back off the left side of the road, and came to rest in a ditch.
She was wearing a seat belt.
Comfort was arrested for driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway resulting in a crash. She was released on scene and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg by Johnson County Ambulance District.
