Lone Jack woman hurt in Johnson accident

Karla D. McAlister, 65, of Lone Jack, sustained moderate injuries at 6:18 p.m. Monday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 1998 Ford F550 driven by Cordell E. Boyd, 27, of Kingsville, was south on NW 1601 Road at U.S. Highway 50 and failed to yield. He hit a 2005 Buick LeSabre driven by McAlister, who was eastbound on US 50.

Both drivers were wearing a seat belt. McAlister was transported by ambulance to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton.

Versailles woman injured in Morgan accident 

Kathleen A. Todd, 50, of Versailles, sustained moderate injuries at 6:20 p.m. Monday in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Todd was passing through a curve to the right and traveled off to the right side of the roadway, striking a tree.

She was wearing a seat belt and was transported to St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City by Mid-Mo Ambulance District.

Eldon woman killed in Morgan accident 

Abigail B. Yoder, 27, of Eldon, was killed at 6:24 p.m. Monday in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Yoder was traveling north on Route Y in a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze when she crossed the centerline, traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck an embankment, became airborne and overturned.

Yoder was pronounced dead by Morgan County Coroner Doc Jones. She was not wearing a seat belt.
