Three Sedalians hurt in Pettis accident
Johna D. Lahmeyer, 27, Misael Tello-Cano, 28, and Rina V. and Gonzalez, 31, all of Sedalia, all sustained minor injuries at 3 p.m. Monday in a Pettis County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Lahmeyer was driving a 2010 Toyota Prius east on Route HH and was making a turn onto Route D when a 2004 Toyota Camry driven by Tello-Cano west on Route HH struck the Camry.
Everyone was wearing a seat belt. Tello-Cano refused treatment at the scene. Lahmeyer and Gonzalez were transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Pettis County Ambulance District.
Marshall man in serious condition after Saline accident
Jessy D. Smith, 32, of Marshall, sustained serious injuries at 6:10 p.m. Monday in a Saline County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Smith was driving a 2003 GMC Savana east on state Route 20 near Green Avenue when he traveled off the left side of the road and his vehicle overturned.
Smith was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was transported to University Hospital in Columbia by Life Flight air ambulance.
