Two women injured in Henry crash

Two women were injured in a two-vehicle accident at 10:20 a.m. March 17 in Henry County. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Shannon M. Untersee, 47, of Urich, was northbound on Highway B at Northwest 1100 Road in a 2008 Chevrolet Impala when Petra M. Shaffer, 59, of Kingsville, was southbound in a 2014 Camry and crossed the centerline, striking Untersee’s vehicle. 

Untersee, who was wearing a seat belt, was transported by ambulance to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton. Shaffer, who was also wearing a seat belt, received minor injuries and refused treatment. 

Barnett woman seriously injured in ATV crash

A Barnett woman suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 4:28 p.m. March 17 in Morgan County. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Mary B. Thompson, 47, was westbound on Marvin Cutoff Road west of Little Marvin Drive on a 2015 Honda Rancher ATV when the vehicle began to skid on the roadway and overturned, ejecting Thompson, who was not wearing a seat belt. 

She was transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.

Lincoln man hurt in Benton crash

A Lincoln man received moderate injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 8:55 p.m. March 17 in Benton County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Patrick L. Gordon, 40, was southbound on U.S. 65 at state Route 83 in a 2007 Ford when he traveled off the roadway and his vehicle struck a rock bluff. 

Gordon, who was wearing a seat belt, was transported by ambulance to Bothwell Regional Health Center. 

Lexington teen hurt in Johnson crash

A Lexington teenager was injured in a vehicle accident at 10:36 a.m. March 18 in Johnson County. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 15-year-old male lost control of a 2003 Ford that was northbound on Northwest 1000 51st Street north of Northwest 375th Road. The vehicle traveled off the roadway, overturned and came to rest in a ditch. 

The driver, who was wearing a seat belt, was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Pleasant Hill woman injured in Johnson crash

A Pleasant Hill woman was injured in an accident at 5:40 a.m. March 18 in Johnson County. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Jessica C. Hunter, 23, was westbound on Highway 50 east of Northwest 601 Road in a 2016 Toyota Prius when she lost control on ice and struck a tree, coming to rest in a pond. 

Hunter was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
