Two hurt in Pettis County accident
Shelby E. Miller, 22, of Concordia, and Taylor M. Mankin, 27, of Sedalia, both sustained minor injuries at 6:03 p.m. Tuesday in a Pettis County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the crash occurred as Mankin was driving a 2002 Nissan east on U.S. Highway 50 at Pleasant Green Road, entered the highway and was struck in the rear by Miller's 2011 Lincoln.
Mankin was not wearing a seat belt, but Miller was. They were transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center.
