6-year-old hurt in Henry County accident

A 6-year-old boy from Clinton sustained minor injuries at 6:55 a.m. Wednesday in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica driven by Chrystal D. Miller, 37, of Clinton, was eastbound on Route CC at Northeast 31st Road and struck debris in the roadway from the previous crash of a 2010 Ford F250 driven by Rodger W. Hilderbrand, 62, of Leeton.

Everyone was wearing a seat belt. The juvenile was transported to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton.

Three children in serious condition after Johnson accident

Two 11-year-old girls and a 12-year-old girl from Camdenton suffered serious injuries, and Benny J. Jet, 46, of Camdenton, suffered moderate injuries, at 9:20 p.m. Wednesday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Jet was driving a 2002 Ford Explorer west on U.S. Highway 50 at Northwest 201 Road when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the road. The driver overcorrected and the vehicle then overturned. The occupants were ejected.

No one was wearing a seat belt. They were transported to Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City by Johnson County Ambulance District.
