A 12-year-old boy and a 13-year-old boy from Jefferson City sustained minor injuries, and a 13-year-old boy from Sedalia suffered serious injuries at 3:35 p.m. Sunday in a Benton County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the 13-year-old from Jefferson City was driving a 2019 Polaris Ranger ATV south near the 1900 block of Keseman Avenue when he turned sharply and overturned, ejecting the occupants.
Two boys refused treatment on scene. The 13-year-old from Sedalia was taken to University Hospital in Columbia by air ambulance. No one was using a safety device.
Christopher L. Bushman, 59, of Clinton, sustained minor injuries at 4:55 p.m. Saturday in a Henry County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Bushman was driving east on County Road Northeast 850 in a 2022 Polaris RZR when he traveled off the right side of the road. The vehicle overturned, striking a fence.
He was wearing a seat belt and was transported by Golden Valley ambulance to Research Medical Center in Kansas City.
A 9-year-old boy from Gravois Mills sustained moderate injuries at 5:45 p.m. Saturday in a Morgan County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Brandon T. Snook, 33, of Gravois Mills, was driving a 2008 Ford Edge west on Route P near Moffett Point and was inattentive due to internal distraction, causing the vehicle to cross the center of the roadway, travel off the left side of the roadway, and strike three trees.
Both occupants were wearing seat belts. The juvenile was transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
