James A. Gentry, 58, of Warsaw, sustained minor injuries at 6:45 a.m. Monday in a Benton County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the crash occurred as a 2016 Ford F250 driven by Steven E. Dunn, 54, of Warsaw, was slowed due to animals in the roadway and was struck by a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Gentry south on U.S. Highway 65, south of Byrum Road.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Gentry was transported by Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance District to Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare in Clinton.
Robert A. Myers, 35, from Chilhowee, suffered minor injuries at 11:45 a.m. Monday in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2014 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Crista R. Yeamen, 19, of Kingsville, failed to yield and pulled into the path of Myer’s 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee as he was headed south on Route 58. After impact, the Grand Cherokee traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Myers was transported by private vehicle to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
