16-year-old Warsaw boy injured in Benton accident 

A 16-year-old Warsaw boy was moderately injured at 4:10 p.m. Wednesday in a Benton County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the boy was an occupant in a 2002 Chevrolet TrailBlazer driven by a 17-year-old juvenile male from Warsaw north on Route MM north of Westwind Lane. The crash occurred as a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan driven by a 16-year-old male from Warsaw, also northbound on Route MM, attempted to pass and struck the Trailblazer, which traveled off the right side of the roadway, overturned, and struck a utility pole and a fence.

The driver of the Caravan was not wearing a seat belt. The driver of the Trailblazer was wearing a seat belt, the injured passenger, who was not wearing a seat belt, was transported by Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center. 

Kansas woman in serious condition after Benton motorcycle accident

Gina L. Williams, 56, of Olathe, Kansas, sustained serious injuries in an accident at 5:40 p.m. Thursday in Benton County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Williams was headed south on state Route 7 at Karrs Park Road on a 2007 Harley-Davidson when she swerved to avoid another vehicle that was turning, causing the motorcycle to overturn.

She was wearing a helmet and was transported by Eagle Transporting to Research Medical Center in Kansas City.

Sedalia man injured in Pettis motorcycle crash

Patrick C. Elmlinger, 69, of Sedalia, sustained moderate injuries at 4:38 p.m. Thursday in a Pettis County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Elmlinger was driving west on Route CC west of U.S. Highway 65 on a 2018 Honda Goldwing when he failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the right side of the roadway, overturned, and was ejected.

He was wearing a helmet and was transported by Pettis County Ambulance District to University Hospital in Columbia.
