Man seriously injured in accident on Broadway

According to a Sedalia Police Department report, William A. Savage, 39, drove off the southside of West Broadway Boulevard and struck a tree. 

Members of the Sedalia Fire Department extricated Savage from the vehicle while Pettis County Ambulance District personnel attended to him. Savage suffered serious injuries and was transported by PCAD to University Hospital in Columbia. 

SPD is asking anyone with information about this accident to contact Cpl. Andrew Silvey at 660-827-7283 ext. 1230. 

16-year-old hurt in Benton accident 

A 16-year-old male received moderate injuries at 10:50 p.m. Sunday in a Benton County crash. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the juvenile was driving east in a Ford F-250 on Black Rock Avenue at Doc's Retreat Road when he began skidding on wet pavement, traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a tree and overturned. 

He was transported by Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center.

Clinton man hurt in Henry accident

Kirk N. Angevine, 66, of Clinton, received minor injuries at 6:31 p.m. Saturday in a Henry County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Marjorie J. Hooks, 73, of Clinton, was driving south on 206 Northwest 131st Road in a 2010 Acura ZDX when she traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a mailbox and a tree. 

Both passengers were wearing a seat belt. Angevine was transported by Golden Valley ambulance then Life Flight to Research Medical Center in Kansas City.

Knob Noster woman hurt in Pettis crash

Aaliyah M. McCullough, 22, of Knob Noster, received minor injuries at 9 p.m. Saturday in a Pettis County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, McCullough was driving west on Route Y near 127 in a 2014 Chevrolet Spark when she swerved to miss a deer and traveled off the left side of the roadway and overturned. 

She was transported by Pettis County Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center. McCullough was wearing a seat belt.
