Two from Marshall injured in Saline accident
Rebecca R. Sanders, 27, of Marshall, sustained moderate injuries, and Nathaniel Snelling, of Marshall, sustained minor injuries at 12:50 p.m. Wednesday in a Saline County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2013 Chevrolet driven by Tyler E. Gerard, 26, of Marshall, was southbound on Lime Avenue. It traveled across Route 240 and struck a 2010 Dodge, driven by Sanders with Snelling as the occupant, which then traveled off the roadway and came to rest in a ditch on its passenger side. The Chevrolet traveled off the roadway and came to rest in a ditch as well.
Gerard was not wearing a seat belt; everyone else was. Sanders and Snelling were transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall by Saline County Ambulance District.
