Six hurt in Morgan accident

Aden L. Buckingham, 19, of Versailles, sustained serious injuries; Jalen J. Johnson, 18, of Versailles, Luke Jay Delhotal, 43, of Gravois Mills, and Brandy M. Hancock-Dehotal, 45, of Gravois Mills, sustained moderate injuries; and a 16-year-old male from Russellville and a 15-year-old male from Versailles sustained minor injuries at 7:08 p.m. Sunday in a Morgan County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the 16-year-old was driving a 2009 Hyundai Sonata west on Route 52, just east of Church Road, and traveled into the eastbound lane, striking an eastbound 2012 Chevrolet Silverado Driven by Hancock-Delhotal. 

Dehotal and Hancock-Delhotal were wearing seat belts and were transported by Mid-Mo Ambulance District to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach. 

None of the passengers in the Silverado were wearing seat belts. The 15-year-old was transported by Mid-Mo Ambulance District to Capital Regional Hospital in Jefferson City. The 16-year-old driver refused treatment on scene. Johnson was transported by Mid-Mo to Lake Regional Hospital, and Buckingham was transported by MU Air to University Hospital in Columbia. 

Marshall woman injured in Saline accident

Mabel D. Collins, 68, of Marshall, sustained moderate injuries at 5:05 p.m. Saturday in a Saline County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2014 Ford truck driven by Barbara A. Nobis, 75, of Paris, was driving west on Keokuk Avenue and failed to yield to a 2020 Ford SUV driven north on U.S. Highway 65 by Collins.

Collins was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall by private vehicle.
