One injured in Johnson crash

A woman was injured in a crash at 9:40 a.m. Friday in a crash in Johnson County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Sydney A. Sims, 20, of Kansas, was driving southbound on state Route 23, north of Northeast 700th Road, when her vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned.

Sims suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg by Johnson County Ambulance District.

Two injured, one killed in Johnson crash

A vehicle crash at 10 a.m. Friday on state Route 58 in Johnson County left one woman deceased and two seriously injured.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Megan D. Norris, 29, of Oklahoma, was driving northbound on state Route O when she failed to stop at a stop sign and pulled into the path of an eastbound vehicle on state Route 58 driven by Allen R. Parks, 68, of Holden. Parks’ vehicle struck Norris’, ejecting Norris.

Norris was pronounced deceased on scene. Allen and his passenger, Peggy J. Parks, 67, of Holden, both suffered serious injuries and were both taken to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence.

One seriously injured in Morgan crash

A man was seriously injured in a crash at 9:20 p.m. Friday in Morgan County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Aaron L. Hudson, 50, of Versailles, was driving southbound on state Route 135, 1.2 miles north of Webb Road, when he fell asleep, causing the vehicle to travel off the roadway and strike a fence and tree.

Hudson suffered serious injuries and was taken to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach by Mid-Mo Ambulance District.

One seriously injured in Henry crash

A man was seriously injured in a crash at 2:10 a.m. Saturday in Henry County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Ezekiel E. Curry, 37, of Clinton, was driving southbound on Northwest 354 Road at Northwest 51st Road when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, returned to the roadway, crossed the center line and struck a bridge.

Curry suffered serious injuries and was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City by Golden Valley Emergency Medical Services.

One seriously injured and arrested in Morgan crash

A man was seriously injured and arrested in a crash at 1:30 a.m. Sunday in Morgan County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Todd A. Coston, 32, of Stover, was driving southbound on state Route 5, .25 miles south of Santa Fe Trail, when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and into a ditch and overturned.

Coston suffered serious injuries and was taken to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach by Lake West Ambulance.

Coston was arrested at 2:11 a.m. in Morgan County for driving while intoxicated, failure to drive on the right side of a roadway resulting in an accident and driving without a valid license. 

One injured, arrested in Morgan crash

A man was injured and arrested in a crash at 1:15 p.m. Sunday in Morgan County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Justin A. Dane, 20, of Versailles, was driving northbound on state Route 5, .2 miles south of the south state Route TT junction, when his vehicle traveled off the east side of the roadway and traveled through a field. His vehicle then crossed state Route TT and came to a rest in another field.

Dane suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.

Dane was arrested at 1:57 p.m. in Morgan County for driving while intoxicated and careless and imprudent driving resulting in a crash.
