One killed, two injured in Moniteau crash

A man was killed and two individuals were injured in a crash in Moniteau County. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Joseph S. Harrington, 32, of Bevier, was driving eastbound on U.S. Route 50 at Petree Road when his vehicle crossed the center of the roadway and into oncoming traffic. His vehicle struck a westbound vehicle driven by Juan C. Aguado-Vasquez, 30, of California, head-on. 

Aguado-Vasquez was pronounced deceased on scene by Moniteau County Coroner Marty Ramsdell. Harrington suffered moderate injuries and was taken to University Hospital in Columbia by Mid-Mo Ambulance District. His passenger, Bernadette L. Boyd, 30, of Bevier, suffered serious injuries and was taken to University Hospital by MU Air. 

One seriously injured in Morgan crash

A man was seriously injured in a crash at 3:32 p.m. Tuesday in Morgan County. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Arthur J. Thomas, 28, of Camdenton, was driving southbound on state Route 5, a half-mile north of Laurie, when his vehicle hydroplaned, traveled off the left side of the roadway and overturned. 

Thomas was seriously injured and was taken to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach by ambulance and then to University Hospital in Columbia by ambulance.
