One seriously injured in Johnson crash

A man was seriously injured in a crash at 2 p.m. Friday in Johnson County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Jeremy C. Caldwell, 41, of Centerview, was driving southbound on state Route 13 at Northeast 950 Road when his vehicle crossed the centerline of the roadway and traveled off the right side. His vehicle then crossed over another road, struck a fence and overturned.

Caldwell suffered serious injuries and was taken to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence by the Johnson County Ambulance District.

One seriously injured in Morgan crash

A man was seriously injured in a crash at 11:37 a.m. Saturday in Morgan County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Tina S. Volkart, 53, of California, Missouri, was driving west on state Route C at state Route E when she pulled into the path of a southbound vehicle driven by Glennon F. Welge, 89, of Wright City, causing Welge’s vehicle to strike his.

Welge suffered serious injuries and was taken to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach by ambulance.

Child suffers injuries in Henry crash

A 1-year-old suffered minor injuries in a crash at 1 p.m. Saturday in Henry County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Bikash R. Poudel, 34, of Omaha, Nebraska, had his vehicle sitting stationary on the right shoulder of state Route 7 at Northwest 700 Road when a northbound vehicle driven by Juston A. Elliott, 37, of Urich, sideswiped his vehicle.

Poudel’s passenger, a 1-year-old, suffered minor injuries and was taken to Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare in Clinton by Golden Valley Ambulance.

One injured in motorcycle crash

A man was injured in a crash involving two motorcycles at 2:55 p.m. Saturday in Morgan County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Dustin T. Rogers, 31, and Franklin D. Rogers, 60, both of Smithton, were each driving a motorcycle eastbound on Brendell Boulevard at state Route Y. Dustin’s vehicle traveled into the rear driver’s side of Franklin’s vehicle. Both motorcycles were laid on their sides and skidded to a stop after impact.

Franklin suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach by ambulance.

One injured in Johnson crash

A man was injured in a crash at 6:25 p.m. Sunday in Johnson County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Thanzey W. Stark, 26, of Holden, was driving northbound on state Route 131, just north of U.S. Route 50, when an unknown southbound vehicle crossed the centerline and collided with Stark’s vehicle.

Stark suffered minor injuries and was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg by Johnson County Ambulance District.
