16-year-old hurt in Henry accident

A 16-year-old girl from Montrose sustained minor injuries at 6:45 a.m. Monday in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, she was driving east on state Route 18 in a 2002 Ford Escort when she lost control on the wet roadway and went off the right side, striking a guardrail.

She was wearing a seat belt and was transported by private conveyance to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton.

Cole Camp woman in serious condition after Henry accident

Katelyn A. Dixon, 21, of Cole Camp, sustained serious injuries at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Dixon was driving south on state Route 7 in a 2013 Volkswagen when she lost control of the vehicle, traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a culvert and an embankment.

She was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Research Medical Center in Kansas City by Garden City Ambulance District.

Three from Whiteman hurt in Johnson accident 

Brendan J. Wilson, 19, and Sabrina M. Tarango, 20, both of Whiteman Air Force Base, both sustained minor injuries, and Cody B. Allen, 21, also of Whiteman AFB, received moderate injuries at 8:10 p.m. Monday in a Johnson County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Allen was driving west on 140 Northeast Road near state Highway 23 in a 2014 Jeep when he fell asleep and crossed the centerline, striking a 2016 Ford driven by Wilson.

Everyone involved was wearing a seat belt, and the injured were transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg by Johnson County Ambulance District.
