Kingsville man hurt in Johnson accident

Kim W. McGowan, 61, of Kingsville, sustained moderate injuries at 5:50 p.m. Tuesday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, McGowan was driving on private property  on a 2021 Honda when he turned the vehicle sharply, causing it to overturn. 

McGowan was not wearing a safety device and was taken to Missouri Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg by Johnson County Ambulance District. 

Cole Camp woman hurt in Morgan accident

Rebecca S. Davis, 51, of Cole Camp, sustained minor injuries at 6:10 p.m. in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Davis was driving west on state Route 52 in a 2000 Ford E-350 van, which suffered a mechanical failure and traveled off the right side of the road, striking a fence.

Davis was wearing a seat belt and was transported by ambulance to Bothwell Regional Health Center.
