One seriously injured in Pettis crash
A man was seriously injured in a crash at 11:44 a.m. Monday in Pettis County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Matthew J. Young, 41, of Stover, was driving southbound on state Route M, just north of state Route V, when his vehicle traveled off the west side of the roadway and into a tree. The impact caused the vehicle to rotate around and entrap Young in the vehicle.
Young suffered serious injuries and was taken to University Hospital in Columbia by Life Flight.
