Chilhowee woman hurt in Johnson accident
Elaine M. Clement, 59, of Chilhowee, sustained minor injuries at 7:58 a.m. Sunday in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Clement was driving west on state Route 2 at Route O in a 2020 Volkswagen Jetta when she struck a deer in the roadway.
She was wearing a seat belt and was transported by private party to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
Sedalia man injured in Morgan accident
Cody L. Crane, 50, of Sedalia, sustained moderate injuries at 2:37 a.m. Monday in a Morgan County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Crane was driving east on U.S. Highway 50 in a 2004 Ford truck when he fell asleep and traveled off the right side of the roadway, striking a telephone pole. He was not wearing a seat belt and was transported by ambulance to Bothwell Regional Health Center.
