St. James man injured in Benton accident

Darryl E. Hope, 54, of St James, received moderate injuries at 7:30 a.m. Sunday in a Benton County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Hope was driving west on Dillon Road in a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee when he failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the left side of the roadway, and struck a concrete corner post.

He was transported by Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance District to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton. He was wearing a seat belt. 

Sedalia man in serious condition after Benton accident 

Andrew W. Dean, 40, of Sedalia, received serious injuries at 10:54 a.m. Monday in a Benton County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Dean was driving east on Route W west of Cougar Road in a 2004 Ford Mustang when he traveled off the right side of the road and struck an embankment.

He was wearing a seat belt and was transported by Life Flight to University Hospital in Columbia. 

Gravois Mills man hurt in Morgan accident

Carol E. Chamberlain, 68, of Gravois Mills, received minor injuries at 4:51 p.m. Friday in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Chamberlain was driving east on a private drive on state Route 5 when he drove off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree.

He was wearing a seat belt and was taken to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach by ambulance. 

Two from KC injured in Morgan County accident

Kindra L. Sperry, 26, and Robert D. Karther, 45, both of Kansas City, Missouri, received moderate injuries at 8:38 p.m. Friday in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Sperry was driving west on state Rouet 52 near Cottonwood Road in a 2005 Dodge Dakota when she traveled off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, traveled off the left side of the roadway, overcorrected again, and overturned off the right side of the roadway. 

Neither occupant was wearing a seat belt. Both were transported by Mid-Mo Ambulance District to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach. 

Sedalia 17-year-old hurt in Pettis accident 

A 17-year-old male received minor injuries at 10:22 p.m. Friday in a Pettis County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Ezra J. Green, 21, of Sedalia, was driving West on Elm Hills Boulevard east of U.S. Highway 65 in a 2008 Toyota Avalon when he was forced off the roadway by an unknown vehicle traveling in the eastbound lane. The Toyota traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a tree, returned to the roadway, and came to rest facing west. Both drivers were wearing seat belts. The juvenile was transported by Pettis County Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center. 

Florida woman hurt in Saline accident

India J. Bruce, 33, of Orlando, Florida, received minor injuries at 1:30 a.m. Saturday in a Saline County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2020 Kia Soul driven by Desiree N. Carrillo, 24, of Platte City, was driving east on I-70 when she struck Reese's 2014 Tesla Model S in the rear portion of the vehicle. Both cars came to a controlled stop on the shoulder of the interstate. 

Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Bruce was transported by Sweet Springs Ambulance District to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
