Four people hurt in Johnson accident
Orionna A. Colliver, 19, of Warrensburg; Faith L. Franklin-Woodward, 19, of Clinton; Zachary R. Gregory, 19, of Big Sandy, Texas, and Blake D. Lowry, 27, of Warrensburg, all received minor injuries at 9:14 p.m. Monday in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Lowry was attempting to turn onto U.S. 50 into the right lane in a 2015 Kia when he drove into the path of westbound Zachary Gregory in a 2007 Mercury. The Kia traveled off the right side of the road, spun out and struck a fence.
The two females were wearing seat belts but the two males were not. All involved were transported by personal vehicle to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
Colorado man in serious condition after Morgan accident
Joshua W. Howard, 29, of Wheat Ridge, Colorado, was seriously injured at 4:20 a.m. Saturday in a Morgan County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Howard was driving east on Route P near Old Eight Road in a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado when he traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned.
He was wearing a seat belt and was transported by Lake West Ambulance District to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
