Clinton man in serious condition after Henry accident

Chevy S. Renfrow, 20, of Clinton, sustained serious injuries at 5 a.m. Tuesday in a Henry County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Renfro was driving a 2013 Chevrolet Cruze north on Route 7 at Route W when he traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck an embankment, became airborne, overturned several times, and was ejected from the vehicle.

Renfrow was not wearing a seat belt and was transported by Life Flight air ambulance to Research Medical Center in Kansas City.

Two from KC hurt, one seriously, in Moniteau accident

April J. Stillman, 31, of Kansas City, sustained serious injuries and George M. Simon, 39, of Kansas City, sustained minor injuries at 5:14 p.m. Tuesday in a Moniteau county accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Simon was driving a 2007 Hyundai Elantra north on south Route 5 when he attempted to pass a 2022 Mack tractor-trailer driven by Lerain L. Lewis, 65, of Sturgeon. The Elantra struck the driver’s side of the Mack truck, then traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned.

Both occupants were wearing seat belts and were transported by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia.
