16-year-old California, Missouri boy in serious condition after Moniteau crash
A 16-year-old male is in serious condition after a 4:55 p.m. Friday crash in Moniteau County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was headed south on state Route 87 south of Shalom Drive in a 2007 Dodge Caliber when he crossed the centerline, traveled off the left side of the roadway across the driveway, and became airborne. The vehicle then struck a utility pole, a fence and overturned, coming to rest on its wheels.
The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach then flown to University Hospital in Columbia.
California woman injured in Moniteau accident
Mary L. Hoellering, 56, of California, received moderate injuries at 12:15 p.m. Sunday in a Moniteau County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Hoellering was driving east on U.S. 50 in a 1995 Ford F350 being followed by a 2020 Ford Fusion driven by Bethany A. Patton, 54, of New Bloomfield. Patton failed to see Hoellering slow down and struck the rear of her vehicle.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts, Hoellering was transported to St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City by Mid-Missouri Ambulance District.
Kansas City motorcyclist hurt in Morgan accident
Robert K. Collins, 46, of Kansas City, Missouri, received minor injuries at 5:23 p.m. Friday in a Morgan County motorcycle accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, an unknown vehicle crossed the center of the road and struck a 2015 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Collins.
He was transported by private vehicle to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach. He was not wearing a helmet.
Cedar Rapids woman injured in Morgan motorcycle accident
Barbara A. Hartgrave, 56, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, received moderate injuries at 2:35 p.m. Saturday in a Morgan County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Hartgrave was driving south on Route W on a 2008 Harley Davidson Fat Bob when she failed to negotiate a left curve and traveled off the right side of the road. The vehicle overturned, ejecting the driver.
She was not wearing a helmet and was transported by Mid-Missouri Ambulance District to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
Saint Clair man hurt in Morgan County accident
Caleb Windes, 22, of St. Clair, received minor injuries at 11:30 a.m. Monday in a Morgan County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Windes was driving west on U.S. 50 in a 2006 Dodge Charger when she stopped in traffic and was struck in the rear by a 2006 Volvo driven by Michael A. Pearson, 63, of East Saint Louis, Illinois.
Windes was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Mid-Missouri Ambulance District. She was wearing a seat belt.
Sedalia woman hurt in Pettis accident
Alice M Schultz, 76, of Sedalia, received minor injuries at 2:45 a.m. Saturday in a Pettis County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Schultz was driving south on state Route 127 when she pulled into the path of Kevin T. Carpenter, 64, of Blue Springs, who was westbound on U.S. 50 in 2018 Ford 150 towing a trailer.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Schultz was transported by Pettis County Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center.
Two men hurt in Saline County accident
Trevor I. Ownby, 24, of Marshall, received moderate injuries and Brandon A. Hudson, 21, of Marshall, received minor injuries at 5:35 p.m. Friday in a Saline County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Ownby was driving south on Hidden Lake Road in a 2014 Chrysler 300 when he traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a culvert and began rolling.
Neither occupant was wearing a seat belt, and both were transported by Saline County Ambulance District to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Ownby was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while intoxicated - alcohol, and second-degree assault. He was released for medical treatment.
