Three injured in Saline accident

Bradley S. McCracken, 44, of Marshall, received serious injuries, Michael D. Robinson, 50, of Marshall, received minor injuries, and Jill R. Nobis, 26, of Paris, received moderate injuries at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in a Saline County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Robinson was driving south on U.S. 65 at 165th Road with occupant McCracken in a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado when they began to slow for a turn at a median crossover and were struck in the rear by a 2015 Ford F350 driven by Novus. Their truck traveled off the left side of the roadway and overturned.

McCracken and Robinson were not wearing seat belts but Nobis was wearing a seat belt. McCracken was transported by Life Flight air ambulance to St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City. Robinson was transported by private vehicle to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall. Nobis was transported by Saline County Ambulance District to Fitzgibbon Hospital.

Two injured in Saline deer-motorcycle accident

Robert L. Edde, 50, of Marshall, received moderate injuries, and Jennifer L. Edde, 48, of Malta Bend, received serious injuries at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday in a Saline County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Robert Edde was driving west on Route H west of Norway Avenue on a 2004 Harley Davidson when he struck a deer in the roadway and ran off the right side of the road. Both passengers were ejected and neither passenger was wearing a helmet. 

They were both transported by Saline County Ambulance District to University Hospital in Columbia.
