Four teens hurt in Johnson County car vs tractor accident 

A 16-year-old male from Holden sustained moderate injuries, a 16-year-old male from Holden sustained serious injuries, a 16-year-old female driver from Holden sustained minor injuries, and an 18-year-old male sustained minor injuries at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in a Johnson County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the 16-year-old was driving a 2017 Subaru west on Route 58 at SW 701 Road when she crossed the centerline and struck the trailer of a farm tractor driven by Christopher L. Good, 73, of Centerview. The Subaru then traveled off the roadway, struck two fences, and overturned.

The two 16-year-old male occupants were transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg. The driver was transported to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, and the 18-year-old male refused medical treatment at the scene. Everyone was wearing a seat belt except for the tractor driver, who was exempt. 

Centerview man in serious condition after Johnson accident

Chester J. Warner, 30, of Centerview, sustained serious injuries at 8:10 p.m. Wednesday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Warner was driving a 2004 Ford Escape east on U.S. Highway 50 near NW 501 Road when he traveled off the right side of the roadway and overcorrected, causing the vehicle to skid sideways and overturn several times.

Warner was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected. He was transported to Research Medical Center in Kansas City by Life Flight.

Oak Grove man hurt in Johnson accident

Levi G. Fleming, 29, of Oak Grove, sustained minor injuries at 8 a.m. Wednesday in a Johnson County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Fleming was driving a 2011 International SF625 north on Route AA at NW 625 Road when he traveled off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, traveled off the left side of the roadway, and overturned.

He was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence.

Gravois Mills motorcyclist in serious condition after Morgan accident

Robert C. Martin, 78, of Gravois Mills, sustained serious injuries at 7:06 p.m. Wednesday in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Martin was driving a 2007 Yamaha Stratoliner south on Georgia Road when he traveled off the right side of the road, struck a telephone junction box, and overturned.

He was wearing a helmet and was transported by MU Air to University Hospital in Columbia. 

Two from Sedalia hurt in Pettis accident

Mary K. Hodges, 54, and Peter Hodges, 88, both of Sedalia, sustained minor injuries at 7:21 a.m. Wednesday in a Pettis County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the crash occurred on Route Y east of Fairway Drive when an eastbound 2015 Honda Acura MDX driven by Nataliya P. Grigoryev, 31, of Sedalia, was stopped for a previous crash and a 2004 Dodge Caravan, driven by Peter Hodges, overtook and struck her vehicle.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts and were transported by Pettis County Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center.
