The Sedalia community donated 2,000 books to the Sedalia Maurices recently. Maurices ended up doubling their book donation drive from the previous year, and donated all the books to the Sedalia Area Literacy Council. All books collected will be distributed by SALC to Pettis County area schools, senior housing units, Head Start preschools, and even new moms at Bothwell Regional Hospital.
