Posted

A fundraiser will be hosted June 26 to raise money for the Green Ridge Sesquicentennial being celebrated later this year.

From 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. June 26 at the Green Ridge School cafeteria, a meal from Fazoli’s can be purchased for $8 in advance or $10 at the door. The menu includes lasagna, breadstick, green beans, cookie and a beverage.

A pie auction will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the gym. Pie donations are still being accepted.

During the auction, there will be a raffle for a 22 Pump Rossi engraved with the Green Ridge 150th emblem. There are only 150 tickets available and cost $20 each. You do not need to be present to win.

For tickets, contact John at 660-596-1355, Jim at 660-287-7576, Allan at 660-620-1340, or Kenneth at 660-620-1327.

The Green Ridge Sesquicentennial celebration will be hosted Sept. 18-19. The city’s 150th anniversary was in 2020 but the event was postponed due to the pandemic. For more information, visit facebook.com/GreenRidge150th.
