The Johnson County Republican Women will host a candidate forum on Tuesday, June 21 at the Warrensburg Elks Lodge, 822 E. Young St., as part of their Summer Speaker Series.
The forum, moderated by former state Sen. David Pearce, will begin at 6 p.m. with Republican candidates for U.S. House of Representatives District 4 answering predetermined questions. Following a short break, the Republican candidates for Johnson County Presiding Commissioner will begin at 7:30 p.m.
The public is encouraged to attend. KOKO will be broadcasting the event for those who can’t attend.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Wicked Tacos and Street Food & Catering will have food available for purchase beginning at 4:30 p.m. The Johnson County Republican Women will provide soft drinks and light refreshments.
