Dr. and Mrs. Chester Kirkpatrick will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary Jan. 18.
Dorothy Towner and Chester Kirkpatrick were married on Friday, Jan. 18, 1952, at First Baptist Church in Sedalia by the Rev. Thomas Croxton.
Dr. Kirkpatrick was an optometrist in Sedalia. Mrs. Kirkpatrick worked at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company and was a homemaker.
The couple has three children, Dr. Glen (Lori) Kirkpatrick, of Parkville, Karla Foster, of Jefferson City, and Don (Shelly) Kirkpatrick, of Leawood, Kansas.
Their celebration will be with family, due to the current COVID situation.
