Lincoln seniors Cadyn Paxton, Jordan Young and junior Jenna Vandaveer earned second-team all-state honors from the Missouri High School Fastpich Coaches Association on the Class 1 list released Thursday.
Young batted .439, homered twice and drove in a team-high 42 runs. Vandaveer struck out four times in 97 plate attempts, batting .558, stealing 37 bases and accounting for 59 runs.
Paxton posted a 2.05 earned-run average over 136 2/3 innings, collecting 155 strikeouts and compiling a record of 21-5. She batted .382 and led the team with three home runs and triples apiece.
Cole Camp sophomores Emily Burke and Ashley Campbell earned first-team honors on the Class 2 all-state list.
Warsaw junior Taylor Howe was a first-team selection on the Class 2 list, while senior Kylee Fajen and junior Karlie Jones claimed second-team honors.
