Pettis County added 13 confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Monday, bringing the total number of cases to 12,041, according to the Pettis County Health Center.
According to the Pettis County COVID-19 Task Force briefing issued Monday, the case count per 100,000 for the past seven days is 28.34/100,000 as compared to 233/100,000 last week, using the Center for Disease Control and Prevention website. There were 104 tests done for Pettis County residents last week.
The vaccine breakthrough for the week of April 11-17 was eight of 17 (47%) of which four were boosted. For the week of April 18-24, the count was seven of 14 (50%) of which five were boosted.
There were 38 Influenza cases reported last week, with the majority being type A. The total count now is 1,037.
As of April 20, there were 374 hospitalized in Missouri with COVID as compared to 385 hospitalized with COVID last week. There are 33 people in ICU as compared to 40 people in ICU last week.
There are two individuals hospitalized at Bothwell Regional Health Center as compared to zero last week. No additional Pettis County deaths were reported last week for a total of 160.
Pettis County Health Center has regular walk-in clinics from 9 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Tuesdays.
People who want the Pfizer two-dose primary vaccine series or a booster dose can visit the Bothwell Walk-In Clinic located on the first floor of the Bothwell Healing Arts Center at 3700 W. 10th Street in Sedalia. Hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
