Mr. and Mrs Dale Norfleet, of Houstonia, will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with a barbecue this weekend, hosted by their children, on the family farm.
Dorothy Bredehoeft and Dale Norfleet were married May 26, 1956, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Emma, by Pastor William Hepting.
Mr. Norfleet is a retired farmer and cattle rancher. Mrs. Norfleet is retired from the United States Postal Service and is a homemaker.
They have four children, Jennifer (Robert) Schlender, of Sedalia, Robert (Sharee) Norfleet, of Houstonia, Jana (Randy) McQueen, of Sedalia, and Janel Locke, of Houstonia; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
