One new Pettis County COVID death reported

During the week of June 19-June 26, there were 39 new cases reported. Last week there were 33.

As of June 26, there are 12,311 positive cases reported to Pettis County Health Center. The case count per 100,000 for the past seven days is 158.25 per 100,000 (through June 22) as compared to 120.5 per 100,000 last week, using the CDC website. There were 85 tests done for Pettis County residents last week.

Pettis County is in the green or low-risk category. However, the Kansas City region is now listed as medium risk. Johnson and Lafayette counties are also medium risk. The St. Louis and Kansas City areas are listed as high.

There is one individual hospitalized at Bothwell Regional Health Center who is in the ICU and on a vent but out of isolation. There was one new death reported this week.
