Richard Parkhurst and Judy Downey were married on Sunday, Dec. 26, 1976, at First Christian Church in Sedalia by the Rev. Bob Magee.
They celebrated their 45th anniversary in Kansas City at the 21c Hotel & Museum (Former Savoy Grill) followed by dinner at the Stock Hill Grill. Together they have two children, Jon and David, and five grandchildren.
