Pettis County added 14 cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases to 5,201, according to the Pettis County Health Center.
There are three individuals hospitalized at Bothwell Regional Health Center.
According to the Pettis County COVID-19 Task Force briefing issued Tuesday, the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services website is reporting Pettis County has a positivity rate of 3.7% for the past seven days. DHSS reports a 40.7% decrease in PCR testing in the past seven days. There were 348 tests reported by both PCR and antigen with 16 positives and 332 negatives.
The DHSS website revised the reported deaths in Pettis County to 77, the briefing said.
Pettis County has now vaccinated approximately 29.6% of the population with at least one dose. According to the state website, 12,544 Pettis County residents have received one dose and 11,083 have completed the two-dose series, which is approximately 26.2% of the population.
Pettis County is falling behind the state rate of 41.8% with at least one dose and 34.7% fully vaccinated. The state is reporting 52.1% of the population over 18 has at least one dose of vaccine and 44.1% are fully vaccinated. For Pettis County, 39.3% of the population 18+ has at least one dose and 34.8% are fully vaccinated.
Pettis County Health Center will have regular walk-in clinics on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. First doses will be available as well as second doses for those unable to make their second dose appointment. To register, call 660-827-1130, but appointments are not required.

Bothwell will offer the following vaccine clinics this week: Thursday, June 3, 2 to 4 p.m. at Bothwell Health Center-Truman Lake in Warsaw will be administering Pfizer dose one and two. Friday, June 4, 3 to 5 p.m. at Bothwell Healing Arts Center in Sedalia will be administering Pfizer dose one and two.
People may walk in at any event, however, appointments are encouraged by calling 660-829-8888 or scheduling in Bothwell’s patient portal, MyBothwellHealth at www.brhc.org/portal or in the MHealth app. Visit www.brhc.org/vaccine for all clinic dates. There is no charge for the vaccine.
Pfizer is available for people age 12 and up; anyone younger than 18 must have a parent present to sign.
COVID-19 testing is available at the Bothwell Walk In Clinic located on the first floor of the Healing Arts Center. Hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday-Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
Katy Trail Community Health in Sedalia is testing daily from 8 a.m. to noon. It can do 15-minute rapid testing or for those who are traveling, Katy Trail will do laboratory testing with results within 48 hours. There is no charge for either type of testing.
Katy Trail is vaccinating all patients. Katy Trail is vaccinating in the community on Thursdays from 8 a.m. to noon and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 816 Westwood Drive. There is no charge for the vaccine. Call 877-733-5824 or visit www.katytrailcommunityhealth.org.
The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reported a seven-day total of 1,545 confirmed cases for an average of 221 per day. There were a total of four deaths attributed to COVID-19 in Missouri during the last seven days, representing an average of one death per day. There were 74,966 vaccines administered in the last seven days in Missouri for an average of 10,709 per day.
