Pettis County Health Center observes National Public Health Week

Posted

April 5-11, 2021, marks National Public Health Week. This year’s theme is Building Bridges to Better Health.

Each year, National Public Health Week highlights the work of public health agencies at the federal, state and local levels. The Pettis County Health Center works every day to strengthen the community by providing opportunities for community members to learn how to lead healthier lives, obtain services that promote health and well- being, be protected from the spread of communicable diseases, and have safe places for seeking child care, dining, recreation, obtaining drinking water and disposing of waste materials. The Health Center works with community partners to maximize resources within the community to promote Pettis County as a healthy place to live, work, play and worship.
