Pettis County added 71 confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, bringing the total number of cases to 2,978, according to the Pettis County Health Center.
There are now 1,068 active cases and 1,880 residents have been released to normal activity. The number of hospitalized residents is 25 as of Thursday.
The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reported a seven-day total of 27,358 cases on Thursday or an average of 3,908 per day. There were a total of 67 deaths attributed to COVID-19 in Missouri during the last seven days, representing an average of 10 deaths per day.
