Arrests

Dec. 5

6:57 p.m.: Timothy Edward Stinnett, 35, of Marshall, was arrested after officers responded to Thompson Boulevard and Broadway Boulevard for an intoxicated driver. Stinnett was located and stopped in the area of Winchester Drive and Broadway Boulevard and was found to be intoxicated. He was booked on a state charge of driving while intoxicated and placed on a 12-hour protective custody hold. 

Dec. 6

8:06 p.m.: Christopher D. Sangster, 38, of the 2500 block of Southwest Boulevard, was arrested after a local fast food restaurant reported him passed out in the drive-thru. An officer contacted Sangster at a nearby closed business and observed indicators the subject was impaired. The officer subsequently placed him under arrest without incident for driving while intoxicated. 

Dec. 7

3:12 a.m.: Robert James Weisner, 39, of the 100 block of East 13th Court, was arrested after a vehicle stop for indicators of intoxicated driving including failing to stop prior to a stop line and failing to maintain the right half of the roadway. Weisner was intoxicated by drugs and in possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges of driving while intoxicated - drugs, drug possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, and operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver's license.

Dec. 5

5:37 p.m.: A victim in the 2000 block of South Engineer Avenue reported a cell phone stolen. The phone is valued at $999. At the time of the report there was no suspect information.

Dec. 6

6:10 a.m.: An officer was dispatched to a residence in the 1100 block of South Harding Avenue for a report of harassment. It was revealed that an assault had occurred a few days before. The subject was not located, but the case is being forwarded to the state prosecutor's office for consideration.

Dec. 7

12:30 a.m.: Jeanie Ann Bass was arrested after deputies were dispatched to the 25000 block of Van Natta Road in Pettis County in reference to a burglary in progress. The reporting party said he was sprayed in the face with pepper spray. Inside the residence was an infant sleeping adjacent to where the suspect sprayed the reporting party. The Pettis County Sheriff's Office is requesting charges of first-degree burglary, second-degree endangering the welfare of a child, armed criminal action, and third-degree domestic assault.
