Nov. 29
7:59 p.m.: Darwin Milton Potts, 51, of the 500 block of North Washington Avenue, was arrested after a traffic stop for defective equipment at West Third Street and South Missouri Avenue. Pott was operating a vehicle without an operator's license and a consent search was conducted where drug paraphernalia and a controlled substance were located. Potts was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail and held for 24 hours pending charges.
Nov. 30
7:15 a.m.: David J. Bennett, 49, of the 2400 block of South Grand Avenue, was arrested after an officer responded to a business in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard for a theft report. Bennett had pushed a cart out of the store without paying for items. The items were recovered, but the subject left the area. He was later located and arrested for stealing and four active Pettis County warrants.
Dec. 3
12:03 a.m.: Zachary R. Baker, 30, of Versailles, was arrested after a vehicle stop at East 10th Street and South Ingram Avenue for moving violations. Baker was found to be intoxicated by drugs and there was evidence of drug distribution and a firearm located in the SUV. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges of possession with the intent to distribute a controlled substance, four counts of felony possession of a controlled substance, unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, driving while intoxicated-drugs, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

7:09 p.m.: Daniel Scott Robledo, 45, of the 3600 block of Woods Court, was arrested after a traffic stop in the 1900 block of South New York Avenue. A consent search was conducted and drugs and paraphernalia were found on the driver and in the vehicle. Robledo was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges of drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.
11:15 p.m.: Samuel P. Watt, 26, of the 2100 block of East Broadway Boulevard, was arrested after officers responded to a reference to a domestic disturbance. They determined there was a primary physical aggressor and Watt was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending a charge of fourth-degree domestic assault.

Nov. 21
9:41 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of West Broadway Boulevard for a call regarding indecency. Officers arrived and gathered the necessary information to generate a report for investigation.
Nov. 23
6:20 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to a theft that possibly occurred in the 1400 block of South Beacon Avenue. The reporting party requested a phone call. Evidence was turned in and there is a suspect who has not been interviewed yet.
Nov. 29
4:16 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to a business in the 1600 block of South Limit Avenue for a report of a hit-and-run accident. The victim's vehicle suffered minor damage. There are no suspects.
Nov. 30
10:24 p.m.: Sedalia police responded to the 200 block of East 19th Street for a domestic violence incident. A domestic assault had taken place and the victim was under the age of 18. The suspect had left prior to the officer's arrival, and formal charges have been requested.
Dec. 1
1:01 p.m.: An officer was contacted by a Morgan County Sheriff's deputy who had pursued a pickup that was found to have been stolen from Sedalia on Dec. 2. It was recovered and a suspect has been identified.
7:23 p.m.: Misty Janelle Allen, 46, of the 100 block of South Jackson Street, was arrested after a vehicle stop at West Broadway Boulevard and South State Fair Boulevard. Allen had a suspended Missouri driver's license and was arrested and released with a municipal summons.
8:30 p.m.: An officer took a theft report over the phone from McAnally Court. The victim's daughter stated she borrowed her mother's car and left the keys on her coffee table. When she went back, they were gone. A male was in the apartment talking to her friend when the keys went missing. A suspect was named but could not be located for questioning.
10:49 p.m.: An officer responded to the 900 block of Winchester Drive for an overdose. The subject was not breathing and had no pulse. Life-saving measures were performed, causing the victim to regain consciousness.
Dec. 2
10:44 a.m.: An officer took a report in the police department lobby in reference to property damage in the 1500 block of South Limit Avenue. The reporting party stated an employee of a consulting company accessed the roof without his permission causing damage and resulting in a leak. The repairs cost approximately $300.
1:26 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to Spring Fork Lake for a report of a male discharging a firearm from a moving vehicle. Officers found no shell casings in the described area and the caller was never located. There are no suspects.
3:08 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to a business in the 1400 block of West Henry Street for a report of harassment. The reporting party stated an employee, who was recently terminated, has made several concerning statements by text and email. Charges are not being requested at this time.
3:31 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of East Howard Street in reference to a property damage report. The victim said sometime within the last month, a window on their vehicle had been broken out.
Dec. 3
3:25 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 1200 block of South Quincy Avenue in reference to a theft report. The victim stated she was scammed out of $3,751.60 in gift cards.
Dec. 4
8:03 a.m.: A subject in the 200 block of South Lamine Avenue said a suspect known to them came to their apartment and stated he needed to find an item. He was let in and while there, he took $800 from the victim's dresser drawer. When confronted, the subject claimed it was his money and he wasn't giving it back. Charges are being sought.
8:06 a.m.: Officers conducted a vehicle check at West Jefferson Street and South Missouri Avenue. They made contact with the driver and confirmed he had a revoked driving status and was issued a municipal citation.
9:41 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to Bothwell Regional Health Center in reference to an assault. The victim said he had been jumped by several people and his cell phone was stolen. The cell phone was valued at $300. No arrests have been made.
Dec. 5
2:27 a.m.: Officers responded to the 1200 block of South Washington Avenue regarding a burglary. They were informed property damage had occurred to a vehicle parked out front. They gathered information about the incident and documented it in a report.

Dec. 2
9:30 a.m.: Jeffrey L. Friedly, 38, of Mora, was arrested after deputies from the Pettis County Sheriff's Office and investigators from the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force served a search warrant for stolen firearms in the 30000 block of Highway M. Friedly was transported to the Pettis County Jail for two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm possessed by a convicted felon, four counts of possession or manufacture of an explosive device, possession of a short-barreled rifle, possession of a controlled substance, and second-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
8:48 p.m.: Michael Walstead, 50, was arrested after deputies were dispatched to the 35000 block of Highway M in reference to a domestic disturbance. Walstead fled the area but several hours later had returned and was found walking on Highway M. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges of fourth-degree domestic assault.

6:47 p.m.: Jason C. Davis, of the 14000 block of Carroll Road in La Monte, was arrested after deputies responded to a report of an intoxicated male threatening to shoot the residents with a shotgun. Davis left before deputies arrived but returned an hour later and was arrested.

1:36 p.m.: Amanda M. Strong, 30, of Brumley, was arrested in Morgan County for driving while intoxicated, driving with a suspended driver's license, and speeding. She was transported to the Morgan County Jail.
Dec. 3
11:52 a.m.: Craig A. Stalls, 48, of Independence, was arrested in Saline County for felony driving with a revoked driver's license. He was transported to Saline County Jail and released.
12:40 a.m.: Joseph S. Churchill, 38, of Warrensburg, was arrested in Johnson County for driving while intoxicated – prior offender and speeding. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department and released.
6:47 p.m.: Linda K. Frazier, 64, of Holden, was arrested in Johnson County for driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway resulting in a crash. She was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department and released.
11:32 p.m.: Lisa P. Simons, 48, of Fairview, was arrested in Johnson County for driving while intoxicated and careless and imprudent driving resulting in a crash. She was transported to the Johnson County Jail and released.

2:28 a.m.: Daniel S. Gamayunov, 24, of Mora, was arrested in Pettis County for felony resisting arrest and careless and imprudent driving. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail and released.
3:06 a.m.: Katherine L. Cass, 34, of Overland Park, Kansas, was arrested in Johnson County for driving while intoxicated and speeding. She was transported to the Johnson County Jail and released.
7:43 p.m.: Michael J. O'Sullivan, 40, of Huntsville, Alabama, was arrested in Pettis County for driving while intoxicated, felony resisting arrest, and felony assault. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 12-hour hold.
