This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

Feb. 4

2:51 p.m.: Brandon Vickers, 26, of Windsor, was arrested for driving with a suspended license near Broadway and Thompson boulevards in Sedalia. The owner of the vehicle was known to have revoked a driver's license and was pulled over. His identity was confirmed, and Vickers was arrested and transported to the Sedalia Police Department. He was issued a citation for driving without registration.

3:22 p.m.: Anthony Michael Fillicetti, 38, of Sedalia, was arrested after officers conducted a traffic stop in the 4100 block of West Main Street for a moving violation. The driver of the vehicle had revoked a driver’s license and was arrested. During the search of his person, methamphetamine was located. Fillicetti was charged with drug possession and driving with a revoked license.

1:45 a.m.: Sye’e Thomas, 22, of Knob Noster, was arrested after he failed to obey a stop sign at Broadway Boulevard and South Kentucky Avenue in Sedalia. He was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a state charge for driving with a revoked license.

2:19 p.m.: Kenneth Dale Leiter, 63, of Sedalia, was arrested for making a false report. Officers responded to a call of an armed robbery that occurred at a business in the 1600 block of South Limit Avenue. After a lengthy investigation, the reporting party was found to have knowingly made a false report and was arrested.

Feb. 5

2:32 p.m.: Alexis B. Metscher, 20, of Florence, was arrested after officers responded to the 1100 block of South Harding Avenue. The suspect was taken to the Pettis County Jail where she was booked and released on a charge of stealing.

Feb. 6

3:36 p.m.: Nelson Elias Jr., 47, of Sedalia, was issued a municipal court summons for pedestrian walking along roadway after officers noted the suspect walking into the roadway to collect money from vehicles leaving Walmart. The suspect was contacted and issued a summons.

2:30 p.m.: Jeffrey David Admire, 51, of Sedalia, was arrested after officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Albright Court to assist the Children's Division with a child investigation. Officers found a marijuana pipe and a meth pipe in a bedroom within easy reach of the child. The child was taken into protective custody and the suspect was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold. Charges are being requested for first-degree child endangerment and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Feb. 7

11:08 p.m.: John J. Kemmerer, 51, of La Monte, was arrested for driving with a suspended license after being pulled over in the 3200 block of South Limit Avenue. Kemmerer was transported to the Pettis County Jail where he was booked and released.

11:41 p.m.: Daniel Scott Robledo, 43, of Sedalia, was issued a municipal court summons for possession of marijuana after being stopped at West 13th Street and South Warren Avenue for several moving violations.

12:47 p.m.: Jonathan Lindley, 17, of Sedalia, was arrested after a single-vehicle accident near South Marshall Avenue and East Broadway Boulevard. It was determined that the driver was impaired and he was arrested on a state charge of driving while intoxicated and driving without a valid driver’s license. He was transported to a hospital and then the Pettis County Jail pending release to a sober person.

Arrests

Feb. 4

11:49 p.m.: Robert Lawson and Jalane Break were arrested by deputies in the 1500 block of South Missouri Avenue in Sedalia for outstanding Pettis County warrants. During the investigation, they were found in possession of a controlled substance while in the Pettis County Jail. 

Feb. 7

3:40 p.m.: William Sindelar, of Green Ridge, was arrested after deputies were called to the 27000 block of Schenk Road. Deputies noticed the caller was bleeding from a cut above the eye. Sindelar was taken into custody for second-degree domestic assault and resisting arrest.

Missouri State Highway Patrol

Feb. 6

9:22 a.m.: Michael E. Gennetten, 58, of Gravois Mills, was arrested in Morgan County on charges of failure to exercise highest degree of care of watercraft, excess of no-wake speed within 100 feet of dock, boating while intoxicated (drugs) and driving while intoxicated (drugs). He was released on summons.
