1:48 a.m.: Patrick Albert McTaggart, 45, was arrested at McDonald's, 3101 W. Broadway Blvd. McTaggart had an extraditable no bond Kansas warrant and was exhibiting indicators of drug impairment. He was in possession of drugs, a firearm and drug paraphernalia.
McTaggart was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges of fugitive from justice, distribution of a dangerous non-narcotic drug, drug possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, DWI - drugs, failure to appear, unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action.
7:10 p.m.: Andrew Brian Michael, 41, was arrested after police contacted a man at 14th Street and Sneed Ave. with active arrest warrants out of Cooper County. A search incident to the arrest found a firearm and items related to illegal drug activity on his person. A record check found the firearm was reported stolen out of Liberty, MO in 2022. Michael is prohibited from possessing firearms due to felony convictions and was transported to the Pettis County Jail pending charges of failing to appear, theft, unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful possession of a concealable weapon, drug possession and drug paraphernalia possession.
12:54 a.m.: James Anthony Kilkenny, 60, of Kansas City was arrested after a truck stop near W. 16th Street and Thompson Boulevard for failing to maintain a lane. The driver was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending State charges of DWI - persistent offender and driving while revoked.
1:57 p.m.: Jared Ward Sanders, 43, of the 800 block of W. Fifth Street was arrested after officers responded to the 900 block of W. Fifth Street in reference to a trespassing complaint. The suspect was advised earlier in the day they were no longer welcome on the property but Sanders returned to the property. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending a charge of first-degree trespass.
2:59 p.m.: Leiloni Michelle Johnson, 24, of the 3500 block of W. Broadway Boulevard was arrested after the vehicle stop for illegal window tint and driving without headlights. Johnson littered a cigarette out of the window at the initiation of the traffic stop, was intoxicated by drugs and the front side window tint measured at 2%. She was released at the Pettis County Jail pending charges of DWI drugs, littering and operating a motor vehicle with vision reducing material applied.
1:44 a.m.: Autum Lee Cummings, 22, of the 500 block of Seventh Street was arrested after a traffic stop for not displaying a registration plate near W. 17th Street and W. Missouri Ave.. As the vehicle stopped the driver exited with injuries to his feet and legs. He said he had been dragged down the road by his ex-girlfriend as she tried to take the vehicle that they mutually owned. Cummings was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending a charge of second-degree domestic assault.
2:10 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 2000 block of South Limit Ave. in reference to a license plate being found in a parking lot.
6:22 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of W. Third Street in reference to a hit and run accident.
11:11 a.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 400 block of W. Seventh Street regarding a theft that occurred three weeks ago and was reported over the phone.
11:37 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to the police department lobby regarding a theft that occurred in the 1400 block of South Limit Ave.. They gathered information to create a report. Suspect information was gathered and charges are being submitted.
2:42 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of East 7th Street in reference to a burglary.
12:44 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 2700 block of W. Broadway Boulevard regarding an individual who had been laying in the alley between two businesses for a few days.
4:44 p.m.: Officers responded to the 1800 block of South Limit Ave. regarding a vehicle that had struck a gas meter. Contact was made with the utility company and repairs were made to the gas line.
8:12 p.m.: A SUV was stopped near W. Broadway Boulevard and Industrial Drive for illegal window tint. A State charge of illegal material on the front side windows is being requested.
1:55 p.m.: Officers took a theft report in a 3500 block of Green Ridge Road after a bicycle was reported stolen. No suspects have been identified.
8:07 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the police department lobby in reference to a theft from Walmart, 3201 Broadway Blvd.
10:23 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 3000 block of South Limit Ave. in reference to a hit and run accident.
7:46 p.m.: A victim reported her wallet valued at $50 was stolen after a recent visit to McDonald's, 1611 South limit Ave. The wallet contained miscellaneous items such as a birth certificate, social security card, driver's license and approximately $200 in cash.
5:30 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of North Mill Street in reference to a stolen trailer.
1:35 a.m.: Sean Hall was arrested after deputies conducted a traffic stop on U.S. 50 near Hwy FF in La Monte on a motor vehicle traveling 105 mph in a 65 mph zone. Hall was transported to the Pettis County Jail where he was booked and released for speeding.
9:22 p.m.: Nathan Bone was arrested after Pettis County deputies conducted a traffic stop near U.S. 65 and Hall Road in Sedalia for lane violations. The Pettis County K-9 unit arrived and conducted a free-air sniff on the vehicle and Bone was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour old pending charges of second-degree drug trafficking and possession of a controlled substance.
10:15 p.m.: Deputies were dispatched to the 2900 block of McVey Road in reference to an attempted home invasion. They made contact with the caller who said two masked subjects with firearms came up to his garage door and attempted to kick the door in and break into the residence. The victim said he yelled at them which spooked them and they ran north through his backyard towards Southgate Loop. The investigation is ongoing.
11:46 p.m.: Dennis Kumm, 51, of Sedalia was arrested in Pettis County for driving while intoxicated - prior offender, failure to maintain a lane and no seatbelt. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail and released.
1:54 a.m.: Matthew Starr, 29, of Albuquerque, NM was arrested in Johnson County for driving while intoxicated, a signal violation and a stop sign violation. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department and released.
7:33 p.m.: Michael P. Divers, 31, of Savannah was arrested in Morgan County for a Platte County Misdemeanor warrant, driving while revoked, and failure to display valid plates. He was transported to the Morgan County Jail.
9:32 p.m.: Joseph P. Dineen, 53, of Lawrence, KS was arrested in Morgan County for boating while intoxicated - alcohol and displaying lights other than prescribed. He was released on summons.
11:46 p.m.: Doyne L. Gregory, 37, of Deepwater was arrested in Pettis County for driving while intoxicated. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail and released.
1:36 a.m.: Angel L. Miranda, 41, of Camden,NJ was arrested in Pettis County for driving while intoxicated and speeding. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 12-hour hold.
11:02 a.m.: Allison M. Young, 22, of Knob Noster was arrested in Johnson County for DWI - misdemeanor and failure to maintain the right half of the roadway resulting in a crash. She was released from the Warrensburg Police Department to a sober driver.
12:52 p.m.: Paul M. Krider, 34, of Conway was arrested in Benton County for felony possession of the controlled substance - fentanyl. He was transported to the Benton County Jail and released.
