Arrests

Dec. 20

9:07 p.m.: Lucia Gonzalez Diaz, of the 600 block of South Moniteau Avenue was arrested after officers responded to Harrison Avenue and Magnolia Street for a motor vehicle accident. Diaz was transported to the Pettis County Jail, fingerprinted and released with a summons for driving while suspended.

Dec. 21

2:18 a.m.: Devin Leenard Montgomery, 56, of the 500 block of East 10th Street was arrested after an officer stopped a vehicle near West Broadway Boulevard and South Moniteau Avenue for expired registration. Montgomery had a revoked driver's license and was transported to the Pettis County Jail, booked and released.

1:18 p.m.: Gracia Alejo Ubaldo, 32, of the 600 block of 10th Street was arrested after officers conducted a traffic stop for expired license plates near West 16th Street in South Vermont Avenue. Ubaldo did not have a valid driver's license and was transported to the Pettis County Jail pending charges of failure to register with the Department of Revenue, no proof of insurance and operating without a valid driver's license.

10:54 p.m.: Jorge Apolinar Gonzalez, of the 100 block of South Grand Avenue was arrested after a vehicle stop at Grand Avenue and Fourth Street for having a headlight out. He had no valid license and was transported to the police department, cited and released.

Dec. 22

8:28 p.m.: Alfonso Demol Kirkwood, 45, of Otterville was arrested after a stolen vehicle reported out of Cooper County was located within the city limits of Sedalia. A high risk vehicle stop was conducted at Broadway Boulevard and Beacon Avenue and the suspect was taken into custody without incident, transported to the Pettis County Jail and charged with stealing a motor vehicle and drug possession.

11:53 p.m.: Lucas Lones, 47, of the 500 block of East 11th Street was arrested after police conducted a vehicle stop at East 12th Street and South Ingram Avenue for a moving violation. The order of an intoxicant was detected and the owner attempted to walk away from the stop. After a struggle he was arrested but assaulted an officer. Lones was stunned with a taser by a Pettis County deputy and transported to the police station and placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges of DWI - alcohol, fourth-degree assault and resisting arrest.

Dec. 17

2:10 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of East Main Street for a burglary report. They spoke with the caller and submitted a report.

Dec. 20

11:16 a.m.: Officers responded to the 1300 block of South Ohio Avenue for a burglary report. A roommate was reported to have stolen some items from the residence. Some of said items were recovered in the residence. No charges are being pursued at this time, a report was made for documentation purposes.

5:37 p.m.: Officers responded to South Limit Avenue and West 16th Street for a hit-and-run accident. The suspect vehicle was not located at the time of the report.

Dec. 21

8:16 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of West Main Street in reference to a report of identity theft and fraud. They collected information from the reporting party and submitted a report.

2:02 a.m.: A traffic stop was conducted in the 3100 block of West Broadway Boulevard. During the stop license plates were seized off the suspect vehicle.

11:12 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of South Moniteau Avenue in reference to an animal bite. They collected information for a report.

Dec. 22

6:24 a.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 2500 block of North Woodlawn Drive for a report of theft.

8:36 a.m.: Officers responded to Casey's, 1601 East Broadway Blvd, for found property. The property was disposed of at the police department.

11:35 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 3100 block of Brianna Boulevard for property damage. A report was taken of the incident and charges were sent to the Pettis County prosecutor.

1:48 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to a phone call from the 3200 block of West 10th Street about money being stolen from a bank account.

9:27 p.m.: An officer responded to Walmart, 3201 West Broadway Blvd, for a report of theft that occurred a few hours earlier. Asset protection reported a subject known to them stole two small items valued at $12.97. The case is pending follow up.

11:30 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of South Quincy Avenue for a mental behavior issue. They spoke with the reporting party and gathered information for a report.

Arrests

Dec. 20

10:38 p.m.: Andra Pardo was arrested after a traffic stop near East 15th Street and South Brown Avenue in Sedalia. Pardo had a warrant in Morgan County and was found to be in possession of an illegal weapon. Charges were sent to the prosecutor's office.

Dec. 21

8:24 p.m.: Travis Lawson was arrested after Pettis County deputies conducted a traffic stop near East 16th Street and South Ohio Avenue for a registration violation. A SPD canine was requested that alerted positive to the vehicle. The driver was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and oxycodone and was transported to the Pettis County Jail placed on a 24-hour hold pending two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

Dec. 22

12:44 a.m.: Irving Martin was arrested by Pettis County deputies after a traffic stop near East 7th Street and South Montgomery Avenue for traveling 60 mph in a posted 35. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail booked and released with charges of exceeding the posted speed limit by 26 mph or more and no driver’s license.

1:36 a.m.: Jordan Whelan was arrested after Pettis deputies conducted a traffic stop near East 12th Street and South Lafayette Avenue for a registration violation. Whelan consented to a search of the vehicle and was found to be in possession of a controlled substance - marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid and was transported to the Pettis County Jail.

Incidents

Dec. 20

11:50 a.m.: Deputies were dispatched to the Pettis County Assisted Living center, 3017 Brooking Park Avenue in Pettis County in reference to a found missing person.

An employee of the facility based in St Louis was online searching for an unrelated missing person flyer and she ran across David Albright's poster and made the realization that he was housed in Pettis county. The Pettis County facility was contacted and advised of the situation and they then contacted law enforcement.

Dec. 21

8:41 p.m.: Pettis County Sheriff's Department deputies conducted a traffic stop at West 16th Street and South Ohio Avenue and requested assistance from a Sedalia police K-9 unit. Rocky was deployed for a free-air sniff around the vehicle which resulted in an alert. A probable cause search was conducted by Pettis County deputies uncovering illegal drugs and the operator was arrested.

Dec. 22

12:20 a.m.: Gregorio Marcos, 34, of Sedalia was arrested in Pettis County for driving while intoxicated and with no valid operator's license. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail and released.

Dec. 23

Midnight: Andrew S. Ellebracht, 40, of Warrensburg was arrested in Johnson County for driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain the right half of the roadway and no insurance. He was transported to Missouri Western Medical Center in Warrensburg and released.
