10:18 p.m.: Kimberly Anne Barlow, 39, of the 900 block of Winchester Drive was arrested after a traffic stop for an equipment violation near South Lamine Avenue and Third Street. Barlow was intoxicated and was transported to the police department and issued a uniform traffic ticket for DWI.
11:50 p.m.: Vincente Tiul Choc, 24, Was arrested after a traffic stop near West 14th Street and South Prospect Avenue on. The vehicle failed to stop resulting in a pursuit which ended at West 18th Street and South Park Avenue. The driver was intoxicated and was transported to the police department then the Pettis County Jail pending charges of DWI and resisting arrest.
12:24 a.m.: Edgar Eved Ramirez, 45, of the 1300 block of East 15th Street was arrested after a traffic stop near West Broadway Boulevard and South New York Avenue for speeding and failing to maintain a lane. Ramirez was intoxicated and was transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a charge of DWI - alcohol.
4:51 p.m.: Juan U. Zacarias, 25, of the 600 block of East 10th Street was arrested after officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of South Montgomery Avenue in reference to a domestic assault. Zacarias was arrested for assaulting a relative while intoxicated and when officers arrived PCAD was requested. He became combative while being escorted to the ambulance and had to be restrained. Zacarias was transported to Bothwell, released to hospital staff and charged with third-degree domestic assault.
3:55 p.m.: Juan R. Nunez Mancilla, 41, of the 1800 block of East Seventh Street was arrested after a traffic stop near Main Street and Autumn Lane on a vehicle with defective equipment. Mancilla had a revoked driver's license and was transported to the Pettis County Jail, booked and released for driving while suspended and defective vehicle equipment.
8:33 a.m.: Angel Renee Breshears, 20, of the 700 block of East 18th Street was arrested after a traffic stop near Broadway Boulevard and Montgomery Avenue on a vehicle with an unlicensed driver. Breshears was transported to the police department, fingerprinted and released with a municipal summons.
12:44 a.m.: Tonya R. Bell, 46, of the 1200 block of Elm Hills Boulevard was arrested after a traffic stop near West 16th Street and South State Fair Avenue for failing to maintain a lane of travel. She was intoxicated and was transported to the police department and issued a uniform traffic ticket for DWI.
8:12 p.m.: Danny Woodrow Kabler, 77, of the 1700 block of South Park Avenue was arrested after a traffic stop near West Broadway Boulevard and South Barrett Avenue. Kabler had no valid driver's license and was transported to the police department and released with a citation.
10:27 p.m.: Michael David Priest, 51, was arrested after officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of South Massachusetts Avenue for a call for service regarding a male subject yelling and walking in the street. While searching the area they located a man that matched the description hiding in the woods on the Katy trail. He was found in possession of controlled substance and arrested pending formal charges of felony drug possession and second-degree trespassing.
While there they located a stolen vehicle which was recovered and a report was generated.
1:48 a.m.: Jamika Lashe Yount, 28, of the 300 block of East Second Street was arrested after an officer responded regarding a domestic disturbance. Yount was deemed to be the primary physical aggressor and while being arrested resisted officers. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail and booked for 24 hours pending charges of third-degree domestic assault, fourth-degree misdemeanor assault and felony resisting arrest.
8:03 a.m.: Alberto Arreguin Rubio, 53, of the 100 block of South State Fair Boulevard was arrested after a traffic stop near 16th Street and Vermont Avenue on a vehicle failing to activate its equipment. Rubio was transported to the police department, fingerprinted and released with citations for no driver's license and no proof of insurance.
10:01 a.m.: Lewis A. Spellmeyer Sr, 77, of the 1300 block of South Harrison Avenue was arrested after officers were dispatched to the 3700 block of West Broadway Boulevard for a peace disturbance. Spellmeyer was identified and placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated. He was transported to the police department, fingerprinted and released with a citation for driving while intoxicated - drugs.
12:37 p.m.: Jesus Martinez - Alejo, 25, was arrested after a traffic stop for improper registration. Investigation showed he had no operator's license and he was transported to the police department, booked and released with summons’ for failure to register a vehicle, no operators license and no proof of insurance.
12:59 a.m.: Andre Lorenzo Watts, 48, of the 500 block of Sunset Drive was arrested after a traffic stop for an equipment violation near West Broadway Boulevard and South Limit Avenue. The driver had a revoked driving status and was transported to the Pettis County Jail where he was booked and released for driving while suspended.
12:27 p.m.: A man came into the police department lobby to report his rebate was stolen at Menards. A report was completed.
11:27 a.m.: A call came in from Family Center Farm and Home, 1400 South Limit Ave, regarding a shoplifting incident that had just occurred. The suspect had surrendered items to employees and was escorted from the building. Charges are pending through the Pettis County prosecutor.
10:01 a.m.: Officers were called to the lobby of the police department for a fraud report. An individual had been sending multiple checks to the reporting party and wanting money back through bitcoin.
2:14 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the lobby of the police department for the report of attempted fraudulent use of a credit device in the 3200 block of West of Broadway Boulevard.
7:41 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 4400 block of Wisconsin Avenue for a past theft report. They gathered information to generate a report and begin an investigation.
6:46 p.m.: An officer responded to the 3000 block of Wing Avenue for a report of a domestic disturbance. After investigating a 12-hour log was completed to document the incident and one subject was transported from the scene.
5:20 p.m.: An officer spoke with a victim in the 400 block of North Grand Avenue who reported the theft of a custom Harley-Davidson fire pit. There are no suspects at this time.
8:42 p.m.: Officers responded to the 3400 block of South Limit Avenue for an ATM theft. While
9:39 p.m.: Jordan Lawson, 25, of Sedalia was arrested after deputies were dispatched to the 1200 block of Elm Hills Boulevard in reference to a property damage and harassment report. A suspect was identified and located near Highway HH and Cedar Drive. Lawson was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges of first-degree harassment and first-degree property damage.
10:21 a.m.: Jimmy Curry was arrested after deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of West Webster Street in Smithton for an assault. CurryWas transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending a charge of domestic assault.
7:31 p.m.: Gerald Staus was arrested after deputies were dispatched to the 25000 block of Highway B for a trespassing report. Staus stated a vehicle pulled into his driveway and attempted to turn around. The reporting party then blocked the subject in, not letting him leave. Deputies identified Gerald Staus and he was instructed to move his vehicle and let the subject off the property. He was advised he was not able to unlawfully restrain people on his property and became belligerent and refused to comply.
Staus intentionally swung his door open striking one of the deputies. As the deputies went to place him under arrest he began resisting, got back into his truck and sped off causing the rear end of this truck to almost strike the deputy.
Staus exited his vehicle and ran on foot attempting to enter his residence but was subdued with a taser. He was taken into custody and issued a summons for second-degree trespassing and was released to the Pettis County ambulance District for further medical attention. Charges of third-degree kidnapping, third-degree assault, special victim and resisting arrest are being submitted to the Pettis County prosecutor's office.
4:19 p.m.: Pettis County deputies took a report of found property located on US 50 near Dresden Road. Attempts to contact the owner were unsuccessfully made.
6:22 p.m.: A deputy was dispatched to Rt. W and Rt. DD in Smithton for a non-injury single motor vehicle crash involving a brown cow. The caller said she was traveling south on Rt. W and she encountered approximately 10 cows. Her Nissan Armada made contact with one cow causing moderate damage to the front right end. The vehicle was still operable and did not require a tow. The cow was not located.
3:53 p.m.: Deputies responded to Four Seasons Living Center, 2800 Hwy TT, for an assault between two patients. There will be charges pending for third-degree assault.
8:30 p.m.: A deputy was dispatched to Purchase Road and Bagby Road in Pettis County for a female that was dropped off in a field by her husband who then left the area. The original call to dispatch was from the daughter of the victim who was contacted when she was dropped off. The deputy picked up the female and drove her to the Pettis County/Henry County Line to be picked up by her daughter.
1:40 p.m.: Deputies were dispatched to the lobby in reference to the fraudulent use of a credit/debit card. A La Monte woman said she had approximately $1,100 stolen via a PayPal scam in Sept. 2024. There are no known suspects.
4:35 p.m.: Deputies responded to Rt. U north of Weller Road in Pettis County for a motor vehicle crash involving a BMW X3 and a deer. The BMW sustained major damage and was towed, the driver was uninjured.
Midnight: A complainant and the 2700 block of Travis Drive reported to the Pettis County Sheriff's Office she was the victim of a fraud. The investigation continues.
6:20 a.m.: Deputies were dispatched to Highway 65 and Wildwood Road in Houstonia for a single motor vehicle crash involving a deer. The driver complained of injuries to her legs along with airbag deployment. The car was inoperable and was towed.
11:20 a.m.: Deputies were dispatched to the 3100 block of Elsie Drive in reference to a verbal dispute. Neighbors were threatening to kill the callers dogs and while responding deputies were informed the reporting party had reproved firearms during the incident and threatened to shoot the neighbor and a juvenile. After investigation charges will be submitted to the Pettis County prosecutor's office for review.
11:58 p.m.: Shannon D. Howerton, 48, of Bradford, Ohio was arrested in Saline County for a felony Jackson County warrant, driving while intoxicated - chronic offender, leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident, failure to stop for stop sign and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway. She was transported to the Saline County Jail.
7:01 p.m.: April A. Sturgeon, 30, of Camdenton was arrested in Johnson County for driving while intoxicated with a person under 17 in the vehicle. She was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department and released.
11:40 p.m.: Caleb L. Galbraith, 19, of Camdenton was arrested in Morgan County for DWI and operating a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner involving an accident. He was released to seek medical treatment.
12:04 a.m.: Byron A. Cox, 39, of Springfield was arrested in Johnson County for driving while intoxicated, a headlamp violation, and driving while suspended. He was transported to the Warransburg police department and released.
9:13 p.m.: Daniel L. Barker, 40, of Knob Noster was arrested in Pettis County for driving while intoxicated. He was transported to the Pettis County Sheriff's department and released.
12:31 a.m.: Crystal D. McDonald, 40, of Union was arrested in Saline County for felony driving while intoxicated, felony possession of a controlled substance, a felony warrant from Pulaski County, a felony warrant from Greene County, a felony warrant from Franklin County, driving while suspended and identity theft. She was transported to the Saline County Sheriff's department.
1:14 a.m.: Julie K. Rickey, 55, of Union was arrested in Saline County for felony possession of a controlled substance, a felony Newton County warrant, a felony Washington County warrant and identity theft. She was transported to the Saline County Sheriff's Department
5:07 p.m.: John J. Amati, 56, of Slater was arrested in Saline County for driving while intoxicated and failure to register a motor vehicle. He was transported to the Saline County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.
5:40 p.m.: Robert S. Podany, 67, of Gravois Mills was arrested in Morgan County for exceeding the posted speed limit by more than 11 to 15 miles an hour, operating a motor vehicle without obtaining a new driver's license after it was revoked, and DWI - alcohol. He was transported to the Morgan County Jail.
