Arrests

Oct. 20

10:49 p.m.: Brian Edward Phillips, 52, of Holts Summit was arrested after a traffic stop on a Jeep with an expired registration near South Ohio Avenue and West Broadway Boulevard. Phillips was intoxicated and was transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a charge of DWI - prior offender.

Oct. 24

3:38 p.m.: Alexander Sanchez Mancilla, 26, of the 1200 Block of South Moniteau Avenue was arrested after officers were dispatched to a reported domestic assault in progress. The primary aggressor was identified and Mancilla was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending a charge of a second-degree domestic assault.

7:30 p.m.: Anthony Joseph Bottom Jr. of the 600 block of Boonville Street was arrested after a traffic stop near East Broadway Boulevard and South Ingram Avenue. Bottom had a suspended license and was cited and released.

10:47 p.m.: Dennis C. Rogers, 64, of the 100 block of East Hogan Street was arrested after a traffic stop for failure to signal near South Ohio Avenue and West Second Street. Rogers was intoxicated and was transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a charge of DWI habitual offender.

Oct. 25

12:55 a.m.: Kristin Marie Overturf, 26, of the 200 block of East Sixth Street was arrested after officers responded for a disturbance. Two subjects were highly intoxicated and a physical altercation had occurred.

Overturf admitted choking the man who had injuries consistent with being choked. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges of second-degree domestic assault.

1:36 p.m.: Dustin James Patton, 36, of the 200 block of East Sixth Street was arrested after officers responded to a disturbance. Patton was intoxicated and yelling and screaming at neighbors. He was unable to care for himself due to his high level of intoxication and was taken into protective custody at the Pettis County Jail.

Arrests

Oct. 23

7:23 p.m.: Christiana Forsee was arrested after deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 2000 block of West Main Street on a black Chevy Impala for a registration violation. Foresee had no valid driving status and a consent search found a controlled substance. Charges were submitted to the Pettis County prosecutor's office for possession of a controlled substance and no valid driver's license - second offense.

Oct. 24

11:00 p.m.: Larry Hundley of Sedalia and Angie Steves of Sedalia were arrested after deputies responded to the 1300 block of East Boonville Road in Pettis County in reference to a burglary and assault that occurred earlier in the day. Hundley had arrived uninvited and kicked the door, causing damage to the frame. Steeves then punched him in the face.

On an unrelated matter the Sedalia Police Department later stopped the vehicle with two suspects. Deputies responded and placed Hundley and Steeves in custody, charging Hundley with burglary second-degree and property damage second-degree. A fourth-degree assault charge was requested for Steeves.

1:00 p.m.: Lindsey Keeling was arrested by the Sedalia police department on four Pettis County warrants after they were notified about illegal narcotics found inside the Pettis County Jail. A body scanner was utilized and items were located. Lindsey was placed on a 24-hour hold for second-degree drug trafficking, possession of a controlled substance and delivery of a controlled substance at the jail.

Incidents

Oct. 23

Midnight: A resident in the 100 block of North Main Street in Green Ridge reported to the Pettis County Sheriff's Office that sometime overnight someone damaged her front window.

4:00 p.m.: Deputies were dispatched to northbound 65 Highway near Rebar Road for a non-injury motor vehicle crash with both vehicles off the road.

8:03 p.m.: Deputies with the Pettis County Sheriff's Office towed a 2005 Land Rover from the 400 block of North Vermont in Green Ridge.

7:50 a.m.: Deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Highway 65 and Elm Hills Boulevard in reference to a non-injury motor vehicle crash that had already been moved off the roadway.

Oct. 24

4:40 p.m.: Deputies responded to the intersection of Highway 50 and Route TT for a non-injury motor vehicle crash involving a Kia Telluride and a Ford pickup.

8:30 p.m.: Deputies were dispatched to the 16000 block of Rt. EE in Pettis County regarding a stolen 6x12 enclosed trailer. The reporting party said the trailer was on a job site overnight and contained approximately $12,000 in Milwaukee power and hand tools. There are no suspects.

Arrests

Oct. 24

9:39 a.m.: Gerald D. Galloway, 68, of Excelsior Springs was arrested in Vinton County for felony possession of a controlled substance- methamphetamine misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia I registration violation and no insurance. He was transported to the Benton County Sheriff's department and released.

4:35 p.m.: Zachary T. Johnson, 33, of Lebanon was arrested in Morgan County for driving while suspended - second offense and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway. He was released on scene.
