2:34 a.m.: Anthony Lamar Melton, 36, of the 1200 block of Woods Drive was arrested after officers made contact with him in the area of East 10th Street and South Summit Avenue driving a vehicle with a suspended license and intoxicated. A search of the car revealed what appeared to be ecstasy. Melton committed several counts of failure to register as a sex offender and was placed on a 24-hour hold at the Pettis County Jail pending charges of DWI - prior offender, driving without a license, possession of a controlled substance, and 11 counts of failure to register as a sex offender.
9:56 p.m.: Juan M. Lopez, 23, of the 3300 Block of South Park Avenue was arrested after an officer observed a vehicle with expired temporary license plates. Lopez was charged with driving without a valid license and no proof of insurance.
12:44 a.m.: William A. Maupins-Deml, 40, of Kansas City was arrested after being observed in a van conducting an improper turn on South Ohio Avenue at East Broadway Boulevard. His plate lights were also out. As he was trying to pull over he crashed into an illegally parked car causing minor damage. He had a revoked Missouri license and was arrested, processed and released with municipal charges of driving while revoked, careless and imprudent driving involving a crash and no proof of insurance.
2:13 a.m.: Excel Elias Otei, 28, of the 600 block of West 16th Street was arrested after a vehicle stop near West Broadway Boulevard and South Kentucky Avenue for disobeying a stop sign. Otei was impaired by drugs and was transported to the Pettis County Jail and booked on a State charge of DWI-drugs.
9:56 a.m.: Timothy Glenn Mull, 54, of the 1200 block of Deseret Drive was arrested after officers responded to a possible disturbance. It was determined a physical altercation had taken place and Mull was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on 24-hour hold pending State charges of child abuse and fourth-degree domestic assault.
6:52 p.m.: Gabrielle Arthur Laclair, 43, was arrested after officers were dispatched to the 800 block of East Broadway Boulevard in reference to a customer barricading themselves in the bathroom. Laclair was asked to leave and refused so he was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges of burglary, assault, harassment and disturbance of the peace.
10:21 p.m.: Christopher Alfonso Bird, 27, of the 1100 block of East 13th Street was arrested after he crashed into a patrol car at West Main Street and South Grand Avenue causing injury to two police officers. He attempted to flee and after about a block got out and began to try to walk away. He was apprehended and during processing he assaulted a police officer twice. He was placed on a 24-hour hold at the Pettis County Jail. Charges have been requested of DWI involving injury to law enforcement officers, assault on law enforcement, leaving the scene of a crash involving physical injury, driving while suspended, careless driving involving a crash, failure to maintain financial responsibility and following too closely.
11:24 p.m.: Chelsea M. Curd, 31, of the 3500 block of South Grand Avenue was arrested after a traffic stop in the 300 block of West Broadway Boulevard. She was transported to Police Headquarters where she was processed and released with a municipal charge of driving with a suspended license.
8:47 a.m.: Renniece Deshelle Robinson, 31, of the 900 block of Osage Avenue was arrested after a traffic stop near 16th Street and Prospect Avenue on a vehicle with expired registration. Officers discovered the driver of the vehicle did not have a driver's license and Robinson was transported to the Pettis County Jail, booked and released with charges of operating a motor vehicle without a valid license, failure to register with the Department of Revenue and no proof of insurance.
1:12 p.m.: Manuel Arellano-Mendoza, 43, of the 800 block of South Quincy Avenue was arrested after officers were dispatched to the intersection of Broadway and Winchester for a reported hit and run accident. They later identified Mendoza and he was located at his home and placed under arrest. He was held for 24 hours pending charges of leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident, no proof of insurance, operating a motor vehicle on a highway without a valid driver's license, failure to register with the Department of Revenue and tampering with physical evidence.
4:34 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 700 block of West 11th Street in reference to a theft of firearms.
12:43 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of South Gorrell Street in reference to property damage. They gathered information from the victim and a witness and charges have been submitted to the prosecutor's office.
3:20 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to American Auto Rental, 3701 South Limit Ave. for a report of property damage. They gathered information from the reporting party and a report was completed.
12:43 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of Clinton Road in reference to a hit and run. information was gathered, pictures were taken and a report was generated.
12:23 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 2600 block of South Stewart Avenue for a domestic disturbance no longer in progress. They collected information and a report was completed.
6:33 p.m.: Officers responded to the 500 block of West 18th Street for a report of a domestic disturbance. They were not able to determine a primary aggressor with both subjects having minor injuries. A 12-hour log was started to monitor the incident.
9:27 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of East at 10th Street in reference to an assault that occurred at Vermont Park. Information was gathered and a report was generated.
9:22 a.m.: Officers responded to the 400 block of East Jackson Street for a welfare check. Family and friends of the subject who live in the area had not been able to make contact with the subject and were concerned about their welfare. Officers were able to locate the subject and determine they were okay.
5:44 p.m.: A man reported finding a handgun at the intersection of 16th Street and Lafayette. The gun was recovered for safekeeping.
11:06 p.m.: Tyler Crutchfield was arrested after deputies conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of East 16th Street and South Washington Avenue. Crutchfield was found to be operating a motor vehicle with a suspended driver's license and was issued a summons and released.
11:41 p.m.: Gavin M. Cook, 22, of Virginia was arrested in Johnson County for driving while intoxicated and speeding. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department and released.
12:48 a.m.: Terrance M. Peoples, 27, of Warrensburg was arrested in Johnson County for driving while intoxicated - drugs, failure to register a motor vehicle, and failure to have two lighted headlamps. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department and released.
7:59 p.m.: Cameron S. McDowell, 32, of Deepwater was arrested in Henry County for driving while intoxicated. He was transported to the Cass County Jail and released.
12:09 a.m.: Jody A. Ford, 50, of Texas was arrested in Saline County for driving while intoxicated. He was transported to the Saline County Jail and released.
11:01 a.m.: Brandi D. Terrell, 49, of Warsaw was arrested in Benton County for driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway. She was transported to the Benton County Jail and released.
