Arrests

Jan. 19

8:05 p.m.: Gonzalo J. Esqueda, 39, of Sedalia, was arrested near the intersection of West Main Street and Winchester Drive for possession of drug paraphernalia. An officer saw a person riding a bike without a light. The officer conducted a subject check and the person, Esqueda, consented to a search. During the search, the officer found a grinder and a glass pipe used to smoke methamphetamine.

Jan. 20

12:15 p.m.: William D. Ross, 37, of Clifton City, was arrested in the 3800 block of East Broadway Boulevard for driving with a revoked license. A traffic stop was conducted for speeding.

Jan. 21

1:11 a.m.: Kristopher M. Harvey, 44, of Pilot Grove, was arrested near the intersection of West 14th Street and South Carr Avenue for driving while intoxicated. A traffic stop was conducted for a speeding vehicle with expired registration. The officer detected the odor of intoxicants on the driver’s breath. During the investigation, it was determined the driver was intoxicated. He was taken to SPD where he provided a breath sample that showed his BAC above 0.08.

Incidents

Jan. 21

6:20 a.m.: An officer responded to a business in the 1500 block of South Thompson Boulevard for a theft report. Management told the officer that someone used a counterfeit $20 bill to pay for gasoline on Jan. 20.
