12:23 a.m.: Shawna L. Shields, 40, of the 1000 block of 28th Street, was arrested after a traffic stop for speeding near Clinton Road and Erica Drive. It was determined the driver was intoxicated. She was transported to the SPD, charged with driving while intoxicated, and released to a sober driver.

July 21
6:38 p.m.: A caller to the police department said she was walking on the Katy Trail and found a bag of pills. They were turned in and placed into evidence.
