This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

July 27

12:56 a.m.: Julia Barlage, 18, of the 2500 block of Stacey Lane, was arrested after officers were dispatched to the 300 block of East Fourth Street for a disturbance. It was determined Barlage was the primary aggressor and she was arrested, transported to the Pettis County Jail, and placed on a 24-hour hold for third-degree domestic assault.

11:23 a.m.: Victoriano Sevastian Felipe, 28, of the 4200 block of West Main Street, was arrested after an investigative traffic stop on a car near the 4100 block of West Main Street. The driver's status was revoked and a search of the car found methamphetamine. The driver was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges of drug possession and driving with a revoked license.

July 28

12:49 a.m.: Cameron Dean Dale Taber, 18, of Smithton, was arrested after a subject check in the 300 block of East Boonville Street. Taber was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and was arrested. 

Incidents

July 26

12:53 p.m.: An officer took a report in the SPD lobby in reference to harassment. The victim stated someone known to her posted her personal information on Facebook and encouraged people to harass her using the information. State charges of harassment are being requested on the suspect.

July 27

6:35 a.m.: An officer took a report over the phone regarding a theft from a motor vehicle that occurred in the 1000 block of East Fourth Street. 

3:06 p.m.: An officer responded to a theft from a vehicle no longer in progress in a parking lot in the 900 block of East Third Street. The estimated value of the stolen items was $103.

6:26 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of East Ninth Street for suspicious activity. It was reported that an unknown male subject attempted to open the doors on the residence, but they were locked.

Arrests

July 28

12:20 a.m. Calvin L. Waller was arrested after deputies were dispatched to the 3500 block of South Grand Avenue in Pettis County in reference to a robbery. During the investigation, the victim told deputies he was assaulted by three male subjects and then a pistol was pointed in his face. Deputies arrested Waller and two juveniles. They were transported to the Pettis County Sheriff's Office. Deputies are requesting a charge of first-degree robbery, armed criminal action, first-degree assault, and unlawful use of a weapon. Waller was placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges.
